Alertex Call-Points can be directly wired into an Alertex unit, or sited up to 100m away from a repeating unit to be used wirelessly.

Wireless Call-Point
The Alertex wireless call-point acts as a transmitter, and can activate any Alertex sounder & beacon or voice annunciator units on the same site within a 100m radius. It requires no wires or cabling and is battery operated, making it a good option, for example, for use as a panic button in an office.

Wired Call-Point
The Alertex wired call-point contains no circuitry and is designed to be wired directly into an Alertex sounder & beacon or voice annunciator unit, allowing it to be positioned according to the user (for example, a person using a wheelchair would require the call-point to be placed lower so that they could reach it comfortably). The wired call-point can then activate all units within range of the unit it is wired into.

MULTI FUNCTION WIRELESS CALL POINTS
Wireless lockdown range that allows different coloured call points to trigger different emergency alerts from the same system. Working in conjunction with the Alertex IP Bridge, a blue call point can be used to trigger a lockdown message, whilst a yellow call point, when pressed, can trigger a different message for say evacuation or invacuation.
Using different coloured call points makes the system simple and easy for staff to understand in an emergency situation.
The IP Bridge allows users to select any number of pre-recorded messages to play - up to 15MB in size which equates to around 10 messages lasting 20 seconds each. This can include lockdown, evacuation, invacuation or even calming music or safety messages in other languages.
